Self love 2.0

Hey hey my amazing readers! I believe y’all are still keeping positive and hopeful about life. As promised I’m back this week to wrap up this self love talk. Today I will focus more on what the professionals have to say about self love and I think we will all find it quite helpful. Before we get in to it I just wanna point out that I am very much aware that this can be quite a sensitive topic to some of us because not everyone is in a position to love themselves as they would want to because of the different circumstances that they are currently going through or have gone through, but let me be the first to remind you today you will get through it and find your self again. Hang in there and remember no situation lasts forever even if it seems like it will trust me it won’t. Everything is going to be alright so hold on to that.

Self-love begins when we observe our actions and words with compassion as if we were our own best friend. – Sara M Bosworth

Alright then, let’s get in to it. As you can imagine there is plenty of books, articles and quotes on the internet that talk about self love but I found five very good reads that helped shade some light about self love. I believe there is no end to learning even if you think you know a lot about something there is always something new you can learn or understand in a different way. According to Khoshaba, self love is a state of appreciation for oneself that grows from actions that support our physical, psychological, and spiritual growth. It is about valuing yourself as a human being who is worthy of love and respect. That is just one professionals opinion on self love and most of them talk about the same thing in different words. This is not a thesis nor any other academic paper so I won’t bore y’all with a lot of definitions and the do’s and don’ts. Do what works for you love. whatever gets your spirits up, do it to feel good.

I however found this tip that I thought would be important to share. A love life coach named Lisa Concepcion noted that journaling is an excellent way to practice self love which I thought was quite interesting. Journaling can be a very good way to track your progress and do better. I do apologize if this section has been a little bit boring but I thought it be important to refer to something.

The longest relationship you will ever have is with yourself. – Anon

Here are some books that I would highly recommended on the self love talk. You can download them on the internet and for those of us who love the feel of paper in our fingers I’ll attach the links to where you could get them.
